Sunday, August 25, 2013 @ 7PM: Dale Wilsey Jr. invites you to .... Katie Watkins Wisnosky and her Breaking Ground Poets have been bringing some class acts to the area to perform. Andrea Gibson was here, Buddy Wakefield is coming and on August 25th, Anis Mojgani will be performing at TwentyFiveEight studios in Scranton. The arts scene in NEPA is strong, but we need to maintain that strength by supporting one another and keeping events like this a possibility. Everyone is welcome. If you're new to poetry or spoken word, this isn't "Roses are Red shit". This is the real deal. Anis will lay down life lessons. RSVP on Facebook.

Saturday, October 5, 2013 @ 9AM: The second annual NEPA BlogCon will be held at Luzerne County Community College's Educational Conference Center. Tickets are $30.00 and go on sale this week on Wednesday August, 25. All proceeds from this year's event will go to the Blue Chip Animal Refuge in the Back Mountain.
