Night & Day: Parenting in shifts is the Tumblr blog of journalists Steph & Mike Sadowski. This is not your average "mommy blog", folks (not that there's anything wrong with that). They are a Mom and Dad on a deadline....a deadline to two little girls.
From the about: We're a pair of journalists raising two little girls. Dad works days as a
reporter; Mom works nights as an editor. We're in a constant relay race
against tight deadlines.

One other exciting sidebar to this blog post....
A few weeks ago Mike left a message in our NEPA Bloggers Facebook group: "There aren't many places that would appreciate this, but just thought I'd pass this along that, yes, there are awards for bloggers. This is from the Pennsylvania Press Managing Editors, who awarded the Poconos blog "PopRox" as best blog in its circulation category in the state Woo hoo!"
You can read more about the award winners here: http://www.papme.com/JournalismContest/Winners.aspx (Several CV and TL writers received awards as well!)
Congrats to Mike! Keep on blogging!

2 From Joe Gannon
I found Joe Gannon from scouring the @nepablogs follower list. He has two parenting blogs that he authors.
Blog #1 --
RaiseACaveman
http://raiseacaveman.blogspot.com
Twitter: @RaiseACaveman
Blog #2 --
Raising Freedom
http://raisingfreedom.blogspot.com
This second blog of Joe's talks about raising kids who value and respect freedom. There are only 2 posts over there, but we have no doubt that he will pick-up where he left off with this thought provoking blog soon enough.
Hey, and if you are on Twitter and not following us, you are missing out! If you blog and have twitter join the fun by giving a follow to @nepablogs.

Twitter: @RaiseACaveman
"Just a guy teaching his son how to be a man. And having as much fun as possible doing it!"After perusing the About Page, I learned that Joe has a 10 year old and 4 nephews that are all under the age of 4! I must also mention that this blog of Joe's hasn't been updated since March. As a mother of 2 under the age of 7 (one of which is an evil genius), I can completely empathize with having your hands full. God bless your soul, Joe.

Vote for NEPA Mom!
One NEPA's famous Mommy bloggers has been nominated for Parents Magazine 2011 Best Blog Awards. More specifically, for the "Gear and Toys" blog category.
NEPA Blogs would like to congratulate fellow blogger Megan Galko for receiving a nod from the magazine. In order for her to win this award, she needs votes! If you'd like to help her out, please click on the picture to the left to vote for her or click right here. You will need to create a Parents login if you don't have one already in order to vote. I was unable to tell how many times you can vote for the blog, but the button was grayed out after I clicked it.
Good luck, Megan!
