Cooking with Booze

Some blogs have cryptic titles, titles that are based on quotes from literature or have odd little stories behind them or are otherwise incomprehensible without some explanation.

Cooking with Booze isn't one of those blogs.

Cooking with Booze is a recipe blog by Laura Herron, a Pastry Arts student at Luzene County Community College's Joseph A. Pagliante Culinary Institute, located in downtown Nanticoke. Every single recipe on her blog (as far as I ca tell) calls for some sort of booze - whether it's Veal Scallopini with Lemon-Sherry Sauce, or Cornish Game Hens with Lemon-Wine-Rosemary Marinade (made with Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio), or Grilled Mojito Chicken, or the somewhat more blunt Pork Roast with Beer (which opens with the statement "This recipe is so easy that you could train a monkey to make it.") If you like cooking and you like booze - or if you just like good food, and like finding delicious new recipes - this is definitely a blog you should check out!
