Kopp Disclosure

Another blogger I met on the set of PA Live! this week was Dr. Robert Kopp, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belvidere, Illinois. A native of NEPA (he even lived in my home town of Nanticoke for a while!) who maintains ties to the region (his sister does PA Live! co-host Monica's hair!), he was on the show to talk about his new book, I Just Wanna Ride (FTW): One man's ride to real faith, which looks at (among other things) the strong sense of unity among members of the motorcycle community (he's an avid biker) and contrasts it to the lack of unity among individuals who all claim to be Christians.

You can watch Bob's interview on PA Live! here: http://pahomepage.com/fulltext?nxd_id=224532

Bob is a very sociable person - before the show started, he had engaged every person on the set in conversation, and we had traded calling cards. He told me that, among other things, he also runs a blog - a blog called Kopp Disclosure (http://www.koppdisclosure.com/). His tag:

"KDs are designed/developed/inspired/mused/auto-suggested/indigested to make folks think; an especially uncommon experience among Democrats, Republicans, and jingoistic mainline denominationalists who continue to discourage dissent with their ever-threatening thought police."

Check out this blog to see what this very interesting biker / pastor / native of NEPA has to say! And be sure to check out his book!
