Military surplus items decorate many of the municipalities in Northeastern Pennsylvania, some with well-documented histories, some seemingly more random. Many places feature their own personal anchor, cannon, tank, or other item. Andy Palumbo snapped this photo of an artillery piece in Olyphant several months ago, and tells its story here.
