This is news from June, but it just popped up on the feed from Joe Valenti's Pittston Politics (which finally has a working feed, after languishing at the bottom of the right sidebar for several years! Granted, the title being supplied by the feed was "Front Page News:", but I've corrected that.)
Pittston Politics: Local blogs chosen top in the state
The blogs in question are Joe Valenti's Pittston Politics and Dave Yonki's LuLac Political Letter, and the choices were made by the site PoliticsPA.com on the post PA's Best Political Blogs. PoliticsPA declared the LuLac Political Letter "Best Blog by Region" for NEPA1, while Pittston Politics is listed as one of the "Best Local Blogs."
Congratulations to these political bloggers on this recognition!
Remember, there are a whole lot of other things to blog about than just politics! If you have a blog, whether it's political or not, and you're from NEPA, in NEPA, or just blogging about NEPA, we'd like to link you! Contact us at nepablogs@gmail.com .
1. PolitcsPA lists the "Regions" as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, NEPA, Lehigh Valley, and Northwest PA. Seems to me that there's a whole central third (or more) of the state that's absent here, including - oddly - Harrisburg. (State College, too!)
